I cannot claim any credit for the excellent branding or website design—which was the work of the immensely-talented Kylie Timpani!
Inspiration strikes
Back in 2015, I attended CSSConf Australia in Melbourne, with a bunch of fellow Perthians—including Phuong, Mandy, Josh, and Meagan.
Over Twitter, Mandy invites Andy and his wife to come for post-conference gin and cocktails at a nearby bar. Having found the first day of the conference invigorating and inspiring, we spend the evening nerding out on web topics, and seriously start to float the idea of bringing something of this calibre to Perth.
Back in Perth, we ask Kylie and Patima to join us on our mission to bring Mixin to life.

In January of 2017, we host a meeting to discuss the future of Mixin. I’m about to travel to Japan, and the rest of the organisers are similarly a bit tired.
